Dear {{first_name}},
Welcome to Hebrew School 5781- 2020/21! We are looking forward to an awesome year!
First day is Sunday, September 13. Click here for the full calendar.
At Cett Hebrew School, we firmly believe that your child's Jewish learning should be exciting, relevant and engaging. Our hands-on learning style will allow the children to experience living Judaism!
In order to successfully implement our goals, a home-school partnership is very important. We encourage you to be actively involved in your child's Hebrew school experience, and contact us with any information, questions and/or feedback to help your child have a very successful year!
Important Information:
Online Hebrew School will run on Sunday mornings with two Zoom classes and a 15 minute break between each class. The first class will be 10am- 11am, and the second class will be 11:15am -12:15pm.
In addition, each child will receive a 15 minute individual online lesson with their teacher at a scheduled time during the week, to review and enforce the Hebrew reading.
A separate email will be sent with your child's Zoom log in info.
A supply box with general supplies for the year will be delivered to your home before the first day of school. This box should be used for your child's Hebrew school supplies and material.
Additional supplies or specialty items specific for certain lessons will be delivered and/or available for pick up throughout the year.
Each week you will receive an email with links to homework and printable material for each class. Please have a working printer available for your child to use.
Online Hebrew School Guidelines:
- Children should be dressed appropriately, (boys wearing kippahs) and sit in a quiet place with adult supervision.
- Children should have their Hebrew School supplies and print outs ready at the beginning of the class.
- Children should eat breakfast before class begins.
- If your child will be absent from a class, please email us to let us know.
Please be in touch with any questions!
With blessings for a very good and sweet New Year!
Sincerely,
Rabbi Mendel and Elke Zaltzman
