Russian Preschool Class
This class is taught in Russian, as the children learn the basic prayers, and begin learning the Hebrew Alef Bet. The children prepare for the upcoming Jewish holidays through crafts, stories, and dramatic play. The class also focuses on Mitzvos such as Shabbat, being kind to one another, as well as general Jewish history, beginning with the creation of the world. In addition, the children enjoy a weekly music class which teaches the children Hebrew songs as well as reinforces Judaica concepts through song, dance, movement and props. Preschool Class Schedule: (may be subject to change) 10:00am: Arrival and Alef Bet 10:30am: Music Class 11:00am: Mitzvah of the Day - story and craft 11:45am: Wash up and lunch 12:15pm: Outdoor play (weather permitting) 12:45pm: Circle Time and Pack up

Children made their own picture book about the holidays, heard a story about the holidays, learned the letter Alef, and sang and danced along to holiday songs with the music teacher. |
